Methodology - Unique yet powerful
Aligning your selling process to your customers buying process will help your customers reach their goals. If your customers do not reach their goals, you will not reach yours.
The methodology starts with your company. Some questions that must first be answered include:
- What goals and objectives do you have
- How will you measure success
- What actions do you want your visitors to take
- Who are you customers - What are their customers' motivations, communication styles, thoughts about your company, and more.
Using the answers discovered, you will begin to create an overview of your selling and marketing efforts in a way that will allign your on-line initiatives with your entire marketing and selling system. Based on the information gathered, scenarios are created for each of your customer segments. Each scenario is created with the understanding that every website has a macro-conversion goal. To reach the macro-conversion goal, there are micro-conversions that must take place first.
The scenario path is created to engage each customer segment in the communication style they prefer - giving them the information they want at the time they want it, and building the confidence they need to continue down your selling process. Every scenario path is created to allow your customers to pull themselves through your buying process in an intuitive and comfortable way.
The typical amount of time to navigate through our process is normally six to eight weeks, however, we'll work with your timeline.
Phase 1 - Uncovery
We get to know you inside and out. Before we talk about graphic designs, features and the likes we must gather all the data we can to understand your company and industry. The uncovery will open our eyes to:
- Your customers
- Your selling and marketing efforts
- Your business
Every piece of the uncovery is used to create Personas. Personas are fictional customers' that will guide the team through the entire process, including the next step.
With the data colleted, Key Performance Indicators are created in order to measure the success of your website.
Phase 2 - Wireframing
An outline of the website is developed based on the Personas created during the Uncovery. The wireframe accounts for what actions you want the Persona to take, and what information the Persona needs to take that action. The wireframe maps out each micro and macro steps the persona will take.
Wireframing allows you to:
- Know what persona(s) will visit what pages
- Discover what information is needed for the persona(s) to take the next micro-action
- Measure the success of the website on a page-by-page basis
- Optimize the website once it's made public
Phase 3 - Execution
This is where creating the website itself, the graphic design, the programming, the copywriting, and the development of the website comes into play. Everything created here is based on the Uncovery and the Wireframe. The previous phases act as the guide to execution. This is the step where your newly created or redesigned website is made available to the public.
Phase 4 - Continuous Improvement Process
For two or more months, your website is tested and measured in the real-world. While this methodology creates a powerful and solid foundation for any website, improvements will only increase your bottom line and your ROI. You change, your customers change, the world changes... your website must change with it.
